In my opinion the gun crime is a serious problem in Costa Rica. The number of murders increases every day, which it has been caused mainly by weapon. This problem are related with the organized crime of drug’s contraband, which it have begun arming local drug gangs. Definitely, I do not believe that more guns in the people or officers can resolve this problem. I think that the best solution is the improvement the country’s judicial system, especially, the unit that investigates drugs and organized crime.

I do not like guns; furthermore, I think that anybody need them. In my opinion, nobody have to have guns in their home or car. I think people should not have guns to protect themselves. A gun in a house represents the possibility a child have an accident or kill another child. I do not like hunting, if I have the power I would ban guns possession. The unique group in my country that have to have guns for their work is the police. However, in my ideal world, nobody have guns, nobody be injured, and nobody have to protect himself because everybody life in harmony and respect each other.
Gun crime is a big problem Costa Rica, the insecurity is increasing. People in Costa Rica are allowed to own guns, but many people obtain this guns illegally and use them in a bad way. Although people have permission to use guns, I think it can be a problem in any moment because it can cause many accidents or murders.
On the other hand, in Costa Rica it is not allowed hunting since 2010. I think it was a good decisión because people shouldn’t kill animals for fun.
In Costa Rica the police officers carry guns, because they have to care of crime, but they are prepared to use it in special cases.
I guess the only people who must carry guns is the police because can be necessary for their job. Even if in my country the gun crime is a serious problem, the answer is not to allow people their own gun to protect themselves. I think the government must work hard in education and public security. About the hunting, in my country is not allowed, it is very nice for avoid kill the animals for hobby.

Defending our properties or ourselves with a gun is dangerous option and a really bad idea in my opinion. Violence does solve nothing. In this country the hunting is not a popular sport and there are a lot of places where is not allowed to kill animals for fun or sport. The police officers carry guns because they had been trained and are guided by the law of the country.

More and more people involved in drug trafficking and this is one of the sensitive issues that relate to carrying of guns and troubleshooting through guns. Laws that control the permits to carry guns may exist , but there are many spaces circumventing the law and illegally provide weapons to people who are not prepared to handle them properly .
